LOUISVILLE, KY - The Louisville Jazz Society has extended the deadline for scholarship applications for the world-renowned Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshops, to be held at the University of Louisville June 26 through July 8.

A $385 scholarship covering a full week's tuition for the prestigious jazz camp will be given to a Louisville area applicant.  The winner will be decided upon by the Louisville Jazz Society.  Applicants should s/files/storyimages/a letter of interest indicating their name, address, phone number, age, instrument, school, music teacher's name, and a brief (100 word) essay on why they hope to att/files/storyimages/the workshop.

All letters must be received by Wednesday June 1st.

Scholarship winners will be notified by June 8th.
