Animal Care Society to hold “ginormous” yardsale to raise much-needed animal care funds
Thousands of household items and bargain-priced treasures will be
for sale at the Animal Care Society’s Annual Yardsale the weekend of
June 5-7. All money raised from the sale will be used to care for the
dozens of adoptable cats and dogs that are housed at the private,
non-profit shelter.
Hours for the sale are as follows: Friday, June 5, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.;
Saturday, June 6, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, June 7, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

1940’s clothes several years ago. She liked what she found and the
auctioneer said there were more items available. Most of the clothes
came from the estate of a southern Indiana dress shop clerk and Ms.
Jordan found clothes turned inside out and neatly folded inside feed
sacks and stuffed into boxes. Ms. Jordan will share the stories of
‘40’s fashion and showcase this exclusive collection.
