This summer, we received tons of adorable submissions for our Cover Pet contest, and the winner was published on the cover of Louisville Magazine's September Animal Issue. Although there were too many to include in the magazine, we've created a gallery of all the finalists! Check out the winner, runners-up and finalists below.

Boomer Boy Becker enjoys summer trips to Nolan Lake,
where he swims with his sister, Bunny Lebowski;
intimidating the mailman with his deep Darth Vader
voice; and intimate dinner parties with, his owners say,
"wet food served with rich Merlot and a bacon garnish."
The Beckers thank Crescent Hill Animal Hospital and
emergency veterinary hospital BluePearl for saving
Boomer after he ate a towel.
