Dear Dazed and Confused,
A classic predicament indeed. Ordering a burrito can be stressful situation; your heart racing as five minutes starts to feel like five hours. Self-awareness is keen while confusion and awkwardness start to set in, all the while you just want a burrito. My advice for you would be to simply order The Vacation. It’s a breakfast burrito with chorizo, tater tots, scrambled eggs and queso. A filling burrito to satisfy that hunger.
However, if you forget this potable suggestion, I would recommend conveying your situation in a subtle way and ask for a recommendation. Try this, “Hey 'bud' I’m having a little trouble choosing a burrito. I’ve got high expectations and don’t want to be disappointed. I was wondering if we could make a joint decision. What would you suggest?”
