Here's what we dig in Louisville this week:
Butchertown Brown from Apocalypse Brew Works
The bacon maple doughnut at Nord's
If you think this is weird or gross, then we can't be friends
Louisville Magazine's FINAL launch party
This Wednesday night at StageOne Theater's costume shop.
American Pharoah
What a way to go. He’s going to live out the rest of his life as Coolmore Stud Farm’s resident badass.
Garage Bar's Lavender Honey Lemonade
It’s almost too cold to really enjoy this, so get some soon!
Eastern Parkway
It's freshly paved in time for winter, my car couldn't be happier.
Dr. Dundiff EP Release at Tap Room
It's happening this Thursday!
Pictures of everyone from all of the Halloween parties
DISCOUNTED HALLOWEEN CANDY, LITERALLY EVERYWHERE
Louisville Beer Run on November 7th!
We will be live-tweeting this run, guys. @louisvillecom
Local chocolatiers
Cellar Door, Ghyslain, Art Eatables. We are truly a blessed town.
Lydia House
We love their food but have yet to taste the Kombucha, because they keep selling out. Taking that as a good sign.
Turn Down for Tea
It happens every Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. at The Trade House on 1319 Story Ave. For $10, you get a 60-minute vinyasa flow and complimentary tea served after class. The event is meant to connect yogis and creatives and introduce them to The Trade House, which is a hub for "creatives, art dinners, events, yoga, outdoor movie screenings, concerts, community."
The 2015 Louisville Music Awards
Happening this Thursday at KY Center! [4]
The 5th of November
I can't wait to see all the original "V for Vendetta" references, "remember, remember?". (Note the sarcasm)
“Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk” by David Sedaris
He was just in town!
The Big Masquerade, benefiting Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Kentuckiana
This weekend! It’s giving us the perfect charitable reason to re-wear our Halloween costumes.
