The Bluegrass Optimist Club is a recently formed member of Optimist International, an organization with community outreach programs that foster children's self-esteem, confidence and courage. Our club has been operating since April 2014. We are excited to host our first annual Miss Bluegrass Optimist Pageant and toy drive on December 14, 2014 at Breckenridge Inn in Louisville, KY. Pageant info:

Only $40.00 entry fee includes Holiday Wear and
Formal Wear. All contestants will wear holiday outfit
of choice, and then change into formal wear.
Photogenic optional for 5.00 per photo or per toy
donated at the pageant.All ticket purchases that are
to be counted towards Sponsorship (minimum 10 tickets sold) or Ambassador award (most admission tickets sold)must be turned in by December 1st.
The person that brings the most toy donations
(must be new in package, please no dollar store items)
will be crowned our Community Service Queen.
No makeup please on younger contestants.
We will not be checking every child, but please leave
it age appropriate as this is a natural pageant.
Also no fake hair, flippers...etc

When you register you agree to adhere by the rules of this pageant system. This pageant will be run ethically and fairly and no rude or unsportsmen like conduct will be tolerated or contestant could be disqualified. You understand there are absolutely no refunds. Sweetheart Pageants, Bluegrass Optimist Club, facilities held, judges, or any other parties affiliated with Sweetheart Pageants or Bluegrass Optimist Club are not responsible for injuries, lost, stolen or damaged items. Any photos sent in electronically or otherwise or taken at the pageant is considered property of Sweetheart Pageants and Bluegrass Optimist Club and can be used for promotional purposes online and in print.

We have something special for the parents...and fun...enter our Ugly Sweater Contest the day of the pageant. Wear your ugliest Christmas Sweater and model on stage. In order to enter you must bring one donated toy for our toy drive. You could walk away with one of these! Winner is awarded a trophy, 1st and 2nd runner up receives a medal!
