Sat, Oct 10 08:30 am to 9:30 pm Battle of Farmington - Civil War Reenactment by the 8th Kentucky Infantry with Victorian Ball and Officers Dinner
Live a day during 1830 to 1865 on the oldest Hemp Plantation in Kentucky. See the ladies in their finest southern gowns and the gentlemen escort them to and from the mansion. Talk to the 1860s mayor of Louisville, John M. Delph and ask him questions about Louisville in the 1860s. Visit with President Abraham Lincoln and first Lady Mary Todd Lincoln. See a recreation of a battle between the Federal and the Confederate Armies of the American Civil War. See the cannons and hear the thunder of the howling roars of the mighty artillery. Join the Southern and Northern ladies as they dance with the gentlemen in fine civilian and military garb.

Following the battle, at 6:00pm there is a Victorian Dinner and Officers ball (both Saturday only)
