Wellspring will host the 18th Annual Derby Preview Party on Tuesday, April 26th from 6 – 9 p.m. on Millionaires Row at Churchill Downs. The event has become a “signature event” of the Derby season. This year we anticipate a sell-out crowd of 500 guests, including community leaders, doctors, young professionals, business owners and local celebrities. It's our largest annual fundraiser with 500 guests, 200-item live and silent auction, unlimited “Chef's Table”, dessert and cocktail bars, music by Latin-infused roots band Appalatin and Bill Doolittle's Derby Betting Tips (he’s picked the last four winners)! Perennial favorite John Asher will join us as Master of Ceremonies. Our auctions will feature one-of-a-kind travel experiences, a signed guitar by Glenn Frey of the Eagles, vacations to Mexico and Paris, custom-made Derby hats, art and more!

Wellspring provides housing and hope for adults experiencing a psychiatric crisis, and those with severe and persistent mental illness. We have been in the community since 1982 and serve nearly 800 clients annually through Crisis Stabilization Services, Supportive Housing and Affordable Housing. Wellspring saves lives every day and brings hope where there was none. The revenue generated from this event has become essential to Wellsprings annual budget; every dollar raised goes to direct program support expenses.
