It’s one of Louisville’s premiere fundraising events filled with one-of-a-kind artwork, beautiful music and great food. Thursday, August 6th is the date for the 19th annual “Art for the Animals” (AFTA), benefitting the Shamrock Pet Foundation.

AFTA is scheduled for 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Mellwood Arts & Entertainment Center, 1860 Mellwood Ave. There is a live and silent auction at the event, showcasing original artwork from dozens of well-known regional and national artists. Tickets to the event are $75. Tickets purchased by midnight July 24, 2015 are available for only $65.00 per person.

Food and drink from some of Louisville’s most popular restaurants are featured at the event, as well as beer, wine and bourbon tastings. Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Sorise.
